Nevada Department of Agriculture Herbarium (NDOA)The Nevada Department of Agriculture’s (NDA) herbarium began in 1962 with a focus on native species, invasive species, and species that are host to insects of concern. The herbarium is located at the NDA’s headquarters in Sparks, Nevada and contains more than 1300 specimens. Future specimens will be added to the collection in order to document Nevada’s noxious and invasive species.
