Calvin College (CALVIN)The Calvin College Herbarium was founded in 1948 and contains approximately 8,500 specimens, of which over 6,000 are imaged. Most of the holdings are from West Michigan (Kent Co., Ottawa Co.) and Midwestern North America (incl. Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota). In addition, Calvin houses vouchers documenting flora at the Calvin College Ecosystem Preserve, Flat Iron Lake and the Grand Rapids area.
