Habitat: Along/near river bank and near riverbend, red rocky/gravelly soil
Description: New culms reddish
Reproductive Condition: Vegetative
Occurrence Remarks: Occasional small stands. Appears that pre-2010 the river was often flooding this habitat but may not have done so in recent years.
