Locality: United States, Kentucky, Grant, 6 miles WSW of Crittenden; Zion Station, northwest corner of Grant County.
Habitat: LOCATION NOTES: Zion Station, northwest corner of Grant County. Ca. 6 miles WSW of Crittenden. HABITAT NOTES: Roadside thicket. Growing with Acer negundo, Lonicera japonica, Ligustrum vulgare (a single plant), Robinia pseudo-acacia, Cornus drummondii, Festuca "elatior," Melilotus.
Description: 2 of 2. Shrub 5 ft tall, in clump ca. 8 ft wide; branches arching; fruits green. Almost certainly originally planted here, but the site, which looks like just another roadside thicket, seems a strange one in which to plant anything. The nearest houses are
