Locality: USA, Arizona, Navajo County, Cottonwood Canyon; on high banks of floodplain on the west side of canyon. (Recollection of area in which willos were collected earlier this year.). S. lasiolepis dominant willow on new alluvium (recent water courses) with S. exigua. Narrowleaf cottonwood on banks (old alluvium).

Description: 15-20 feet tall; staminate.
Reproductive Condition: fruit
