Cove faces east into main part of bay. High lake water level for time of season. Population 20 m from shore and in 1.25 m of water down to mucky-silty organic substrate. Growing with Sparganium angustifolium,, Nymphaea odorata, Sagittaria rigida, Potamogeton zosteriformis, Potamogeton amplifolius, and Potamogeton cf. natans.

Irregular patch approx. 15m in diameter. Specimens in flower with tens of thousands stems in cohesive grouping. Floating and submerged leaves present. Specimens collected on third day of consecutive three-day rains.
