Locality: United States, Mississippi, George, MISSISSIPPI. George Co.: on west side of Pascagoula River, Pascagoula River WMA; T2S, R8W, Sec. 40, E/2; "Parker Cemetery Bluff".
Habitat: Southern mesophytic forest on steep bluff.
Occurrence Remarks: Collected for the Herbarium of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science for the Natural Heritage Program Field Survey. Two sheets. One was annotated because this species was initially placed in the Caprifoliaceae.
