Locality: United States, Louisiana, Natchitoches, Winn Ranger District, Kisatchie National Forest, Plants of Dragonfly Bog (also know as MIS plot 060404). Chestnut community vicinity, about 3 miles east on USFS Road 605 at GPSed point of management indicator species plot 060404 as noted. +/- 10 feet from MIS plot center post (in the northern buffer of bog). T13N R6W low center of the east 1/2 of the SW4 of S4 of Sec26

Habitat: Sunny site, longleaf pine regeneration area with a few pitcher plants (Sarracenia alata Wood) in 3 small clumps and a variety of bog species, such as Xyris spp., Drosera spp., Marshallia spp., Aristida spp., etc. Fire history: perscribed burned Feb. 20, 2001. Soil: classified as Bellwood loam (but not ground verified). From buffer zone, fresh flowers purple, abundant.
