Habitat:
In or at edge of small shallow pool (1-3 inches deep). Gravelly sandy soil in full sun. Surrounding ground packed gravel, used by road crews for storing gravel etc. Leersia oryzoides, Polygonum hydropiper, Cyperus rivularis, and Eleocharis obtusa growing in shallow water with cattails. Setaria glauca growing at edge.
