Damp spot right at badly disturbed edge of extensive shrub swamp-cattail marsh, Phalaris arundinacea the overwhelming dominant, with Bromus inermis, Elytrigia repens, and Carex trichocarpa (a little of all three), Cornus stolonifera, Echinocystis lobata, and Stachys palustris. Tangled, almost matted, clammy (soft, sticky) herb. Sheet 2 of 2.
