Relatively dry, somewhat tussocky, grassy sedge meadow (originally a fen, very slowly drying out due to deepening and straightening of spring run). Assoc.: Carex stricta locally dominant, with Glyceria striata, Saxifraga pensylvanica, Geum aleppicum, Pycnanthemum virginianum, Aster lucidulus, and Solidago gigantea. West of spring run, west of south unit of row crops.
