Open sandy Quercus velutina-Pinus banksiana woods, with similar species as above (Carex spp., Krigia virginica, Cyperus schweinitzii, Monarda punctata villicaulis, Tephrosia virginica) and Carex pensylvanica, Equisetum hyemale, Panicum scribnerianum. Trailing on sand; stems to 2 or 3 m long. Part of MASS COLLECTIONS of 13 plants. Plant 10a. Sheet 1 of 2.
