Habitat: Sonoran Desertscrub. Artificial catchment created in the 1940s, intended to supply water for wildlife, now occupied by Prosopis velutina and Olneya tesota.
Associated Species: Olneya tesota and Prosopis velutina covered with Ipomoea hederacea and Cucurbita digitata.
Occurrence Remarks: Abundant annual grass.
