Location Remarks: Kickapoo Prairie Forest Preserve, Riverdale. 144th St. and Halsted. Along narrow ditch between two prairie openings, west of Halsted and north of mowed area.
Habitat: On low, moist bank of small ditch in degraded shrubby area
Associated Species: Rhamnus cathartica, Vitis riparia, Potentilla simplex, Cornus racemosa, Fragaria virginiana, Solidago altissima, Viburnum opulus
Description: Tall shrub with gray bark, toothed leaves, and fragrant white flowers. Dense colony in area. Uncertain whether native to area or escaped
