Description:
Flower buds and reflexed petals pale yellowish green. Calyx pale green with white-margined lobes. Anthers and pollen light yellow; filaments white. Styles (3) a supressed rose hue; ovary off-white; disk greenish yellow. Panicles ascending their axes pale green with buff tints. Leaflets shiny: dark green above, much paler beneath. Rachis wings of similar color. Rachis and petiole and pale green, with dull purplish suffusion on skyward side. Subterminal twigs light grayish tan with dull refous lenticels. Bark slightly roughened, mottled, with several shades of gray. Branches restricted to crown area, some 5 to 7 ft. above ground, their spread ca. 4 ft. Slender trunck to ca. 1 inch in diam. at base.
Occurrence Remarks:
A smaller individual also in bloom, was close by.
