United States, New Mexico, Otero, Collected from Bluff Springs USGS 7.5' topographic Quadrangle in the Sacramento Mountains. 300 meters west of spring in Potato Canyon near ravine bottom.
Erect perennial herb 1.5 meters tall, vertical roots, fleshy with a pugnent odor; leaves opposite or in whorls of three, dark green; green corolla, tinged bronze above.
