Locality: U.S.A., Nevada, Nye, 1.7 miles south of turnoff from U.S. 95 on Nevada 160.
Elevation: 762 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 2500 ft.
Habitat: Desert pavement. Encelia frutescens/virginensis hybrid swarm. Common on roadside occasional elsewhere. Introgressed with E. frutescens.
Associated Species: Larrea-Ambrosia desert with assorted other shrubs. Lepidium fremontii, Amphipappus fremontii, Ambrosia salsola, Psorothamnus sp., Scutellaria mexicana, Ephedra sp., Eriogonum inflatum, roadside-Atriplex hymenelytra, Atriplex confertifolia, Porophyllum gracile, Krameria bicolor, et al.
