Description: Flower diameter 35-55mm, length 60-75 mm, stigma number 7-9, stigma green, outer perianth yellow with green center stripe tinged with pink, inner perianth bright yellow; lots of beetles inside. Fruit diameter 18-36 mm, length (17-) 35-48 mm; magenta when fleshy, beige when dry.
Reproductive Condition: flowers
Occurrence Remarks: pad collected by J. Ward 4/29/1997; flower collected by Suhr, Ward and Johnson 4/29/1997 and 5/12/1998. Fruits collected 10/9/2001 by R. Trelease and N. Foisy
