About 50 air miles N of San Francisco, 10 air miles E of Santa Rosa, 1.5 air milse N of Kenwood, and 18 air miles NW of Napa. Adobe Canyon N of Sonoma Creek, N of Adobe Canyon Road, at Pony Gate trail juncture.

Elevation: 433 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 1420ft
Habitat: W-facing, 5* slope. Recently burned coast live oak forest. Large ares 100% cover of an airy grass (Bowcutt 1856). About 25% bare ground, about 20% cover of a Lathrys not yet in bloom. Appears as though fire was mostly a ground fire but got into canopy some.
Associated Species: Associates: Medicago, Silene gallica, Trifolium, Carduus. Strong aroma.
