Forming dense patch in shade under young Populus tremuloides & Salix bebbiana in ectotne between oak savannah and large wet meadow complex along Creek. Moist, sandy soil. Associates include Spartina pectinata, Carex stricta, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Cicuta maculata, Potentilla simplex.

Forming dense patch. Florocanes reclining to trailing, to 6 feet long, tip-rooting. Primocanes to 4 feet long, reclining on other vegetation.
