Habitat: Steep slope in mixed conifer woodland.
Associated Species: Pinus ponderosa, Pinus strobiformis, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Quercus hypoleucoides, Quercus rugosa, Ceanothus fendleri, Muhlenbergia longiligula.
Description: Perennial forb; leaves narrowly linear; pappus plumose.
