Associated Species: Chilopsis linearis, Quercus emoryi, Prosopis velutina, Machaeranthera tanacetifolia, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Aristida ternipes var. ternipes, Hopia obtusa, Sporobolus cryptandrus.
Description: Annual forb, 1 m; phyllaries narrowly lanceolate; rays yellow, disks brown.
