Locality: United States, California, Orange, Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park. Southwest of Casper Park Road, ca. 400 meters from junction with Hwy 74 (Ortega Hwy), near road.

Habitat: Alluvial/coastal sage scrub of open oak-sycamore woodland. Exposed.; Brown silty, rocky soil.
Associated Species: Eriogonum fasciculatum, Platanus racemosa, Quercus agrifolia var. agrifolia, Lepidospartum squamatum.
Reproductive Condition: In flower.
Occurrence Remarks: Not common. Two individuals seen in area.; Perennial herb, ca. 1 meter tall. Ray and disk corollas yellow.
