Habitat: Gravelly flat in oak woodland/scrub grassland.
Associated Species: Prosopis velutina, Quercus oblongifolia, Quercus emoryi, Juniperus deppeana, Dasylirion wheeleri, Sarcomphalus obtusifolius, Ericameria laricifolia, Isocoma tenuisecta, Nolina microcarpa, Yucca "schottii," Bothriochloa barbinodis, Eragrostis curvula, Bouteloua spp.
Description: Small succulent, 10 cm tall x 6.5 cm wide; tepals magenta, whitish at base.
