Locality: United States, Arkansas, Washington, Boston Mountains. Lower Boston Mountains Ecoregion. USGS Fayetteville 7.5' Quad. Mount Sequoyah Woods. Fayetteville. Mossy Seep Trail walking E from "Giant's Cobblestones" approx. 100'-150' on left, before first of two drainages crosses trail.

Location Remarks: Vicinity of coordinates; coordinates not obtained in situ with GPS but estimated post-collection event using mapping programs. Coordinates considered accurate to within 100 m.
Habitat: E-facing terrace between steep slopes in rocky oak-hickory forest dominated by Quercus alba, Q. marilandica, Carya ovata, & other Carya spp.
Associated Species: Specimen taken under heavy Lonicera maackii canopy.
Description: Small shrub ~4-5' in height with fountain habit.
Reproductive Condition: flower
Preparations: Herbarium Sheet 2 of 2.
Occurrence Remarks: Uncommon and only observed along Mossy Seep Trail. Probably 10-20 individuals in 5-acre area on gradual slope S of trail. Others noted thriving in less-occluded and gradually sloped area to northeast, east of trail.
