Habitat: River terrace system along Little Missouri River, made up of sandy channel and sandbar with young cottonwood saplings. Understory vegetation mostly annuals but with perennial grasses encroaching: Salix exigua, Psoralea lanceolata, Descurainia sp., Helianthus petiolaris, Bromus japonicus, B. tectorum, Ambrosia psilostachya, Conyza canadensis, Chenopodium leptophyllum.
