Locality: United States, Florida, Okaloosa, United States: Florida: Okaloosa County. Eglin AFB. Northwest of Wynnehaven, north of Hwy 98 and Eastbay River. Wet flatwoods with dense, even-age overstory of slash pine (Pinus elliottii). Area experienced a hot fire within past year. Lots of dead Ilex coriacea stems. Ground cover dominants include: Aristida beyrichiana, Panicum verrecossum, Andropogon arctatus, Eriocaulon decangulare, Myrica spp., Ilex spp. Lat. 30° 27.087N Long. 86° 46.794W Datum: NAD83.
