Locality: United States, Arkansas, Baxter, From Midway Post Office, 3.3 miles south on St. Hwy. 178, right and 3.8 miles west on Bx. Co. Rd. 9 to Bruce Creek near White River confluence.
Habitat: Bottomland deciduous forest. Rich silt loam on alluvium.
Description: Height: 105 cm. Fresh flowers purple/pinkish. 3 leaves whorled at node; roots thick.
Occurrence Remarks: Common.
