Habitat: Wet swale in degraded tallgrass prairie with shale outcrops.
Associated Species: Growing with Eleocharis tenuis verrucosa, Carex opaca, Carex festucacea, Carex oklahomensis, Ranunculus laxicaulis & Juncus spp.
Description: Plants rhizomatous.
Reproductive Condition: flower & fruit
Preparations: Herbarium Sheet 1 of 1.
Occurrence Remarks: Several patches. 1000+ culms total.
