Hydric flatwoods with native Pinus taeda-oak canopy in abandoned channel scar wetland 60 ft. above the South Fourche LaFave River. Site has a strong Coastal Plain affinity.
Growing with Carex spp., Eleocharis tenuis verrucosa, and Phlox glaberrima.
