E of Burk Rd. and W of Middle Fork Saline River, about 1.7 road mi. N of jct. with AR Hwy 5 in Owensville. NE end of large shale barrens. TRS: T1S R17W S17 E2NE4SE4

Habitat: Edge of seasonally wet shale glade with calcareous influence at woodland margin.
Associated Species: Growing with Clinopodium arkansanum, Valerianella nuttallii, Rubus sp., Geranium carolinianum, Lespedeza cuneata, Dichanthelium laxiflorum, Melica mutica, Trifolium campestre, Allium canadense mobilense, Ptilimnium nuttallii, Ulmus alata, Carya sp., etc.
Description: Plant about a meter tall with three well-developed stem leaves and four developing flower umbels. Flowers in bud and white. Stem glaucous.
Reproductive Condition: sterile
Preparations: Herbarium Sheet 1 of 1.
Occurrence Remarks: Single fertile plant observed. First record from Ouachita Mountains.
