Habitat: Pinyon-oak woodland.
Associated Species: Pinus discolor, Quercus arizonica, Quercus hypoleucoides, Cercocarpus breviflorus, Juniperus deppeana, Hymenothrix wrightii, Heliopsis parvifolia, Aldama cordifolia, Heterotheca fulcrata var. senilis, Muhlenbergia emersleyi, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Eragrostis curvula.
Description: Annual forb; leaf margins dentate, blades with central red stain; capsules sparsely hairy.
