Habitat:
Sandy red soil derived from the Moenkopi formation, moderate to steep exposed sparsely vegetated slope with heavy biological soil crusts
Associated Taxa:
Eriogonum corymbosum, Atriplex confertifolia, Sclerocactus parviflorus, Opuntia trichophora, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Coleogyne ramosissima
Reproductive Condition:
Flowering/fruiting
Notes:
Treated in Utah Floras historically as Mentzelia multiflora which as more recently studied, does not occur in Utah.
