Description: Plant sprawling, pads yellow-green; spines light brown, mottled with reddish-brown color and tips are dark, few spines present; flowers collected midday, diameter 60-80 mm, length 79-90 mm, outer perianth bright yellow with a reddish midstripe, inner perianth bright yellow with very slight orange midstripe; stigma lobe number 6-8, light yellow-green.

Occurrence Remarks: This is sheet I/II and has the pads and slides. Sheet II/II is DES 66081 and has the flowers.
