Description:
Flowers collected in the morning and afternoon, flower diameter 13-25 mm, length 61-84 mm (length includes length of filaments and stigma lobes that are exerted through tepals), outer perianth red with a hint of magenta, white fine hair on the edges, inner perianth red with magenta hue, additional flowers collected 17 April 2008; stigma lobe number 9-11, color pale magenta; stem is blue-green-gray; spines dark brown, length 45 mm; rib count 20; fleshy fruit diameter 13 mm, length 13 mm, color reddish-green, not ripe.
