Associated Species: Prosopis velutina, Baccharis salicifolia, Baccharis sarothroides, Celtis reticulata, Senegalia greggii, Ambrosia monogyra, Proboscidea parviflora, Xanthium strumarium, Elytraria imbricata, Portulaca umbraticola, Euphorbia indivisa, Euphorbia hyssopifolia, Ipomoea cristulata, Ipomoea ternifolia var. leptotoma, Aristida ternipes.
Description: Annual forb; petaloid appendages white, becoming pink with age.
