Habitat: Ephemeral drainage in mountainous pine oak woodland.
Substrate: Stony soil adjacent to ephemeral stream.
Associated Species: Hesperocyparis arizonica, Pinus chihuahuana, Juniperus deppiana, Quercus durifolia.
Description: 2-3 dm tall erect herb with stoloniferous roots, lanceolate, sheathing leaves and yellow centered white flowers.
