United States, Texas, Val Verde, Common in moist clay in seasonal wetland in depressional area on S side of northern perimeter road, W side of road leading SE from bend in road near entrance of Zorro Creek onto Laughlin Air Force Base, or ca. 2.5 airmiles E to ESE of jct. US 90 and FM 2523 E of Del Rio. Del Rio SE Quadrangle.
Associates include Ammannia sp., Aster spinosus, Bergia texana, Coreopsis tinctoria, Cyperus acuminatus, C. elegans, Eleocharis cf. palustris, E. parvula, Phyla cf strigulosa.
