Locality: United States, Florida, Highlands Co., Ca. 6.7 mi. S of the US 27 and FL 70 intersection (Bair's Den).
Habitat: Ancient marine terrace covered with Pinus clausa scrub; with Serenoa repens, Lyonia ferruginea, Graberia fruticosa [G. heterophylla], Sabal etonia, Osmanthus megacarpus, Smilax auriculata, Quercus myrtifolia, Q. chapmanii, Petalostemon feayi [Dalea feayi], Selaginella arenicola, Sanidophyllum [Hypericum cumulicola], and occasional Pinus clausa.
