Habitat: Cement-dammed cattle pond in oak-mesquite savanna.
Associated Species: Salix gooddingii, Quercus oblongifolia, Prosopis velutina, Eysenhardtia orthocarpa, Agave palmeri, Dasylirion wheeleri, Nolina microcarpa, Baccharis salicifolia, Baccharis sarothroides, Cynodon dactylon, Muhlenbergia rigens, Persicaria pensylvanica, Lemna aequinoctialis.
Description: Floating aquatic, vegetative; root sheath not appearing winged; upper surface of fronds blotched with red; 3 veins visible; frond tips +/- asymmetrical. Growing with flowering & fruiting Lemna aequinoctialis, which may be somewhat intermixed in the collection.
Occurrence Remarks: PAPAZ.
