Habitat: Oak-mesquite grassland.
Associated Species: Prosopis velutina, Quercus oblongifolia, Dasylirion wheeleri, Asclepias nummularia, Erythrina flabelliformis, Acourtia thurberi, Agave palmeri, Mimosa dysocarpa, Salvia subincisa, Ipomoea barbatisepala, Ipomoea costellata, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Bouteloua hirsuta, Bouteloua curtipendula, Bouteloua chondrosioides, Aristida ternipes var. gentilis, Disakisperma dubium, Trachypogon spicatus, Elionurus barbiculmis.
Description: Perennial vine, locally frequent; leaves semi-succulent.
