Locality: United States, Florida, Alachua, United States: Florida: Alachua County. Kanapaha Botanical Gardens; The Rock Garden. Open sunny well drained area. Same plant as Davis # 1075. Plant including the erect inflorescence ca. 12 feet tall. Leaves ca 2 cm wide, gray-green and twisted toward the tips with the abaxial surface facing upward. Newer leaves glaucous on both surfaces. Inflorescence apparently dioecious, branches of the inflorescence appear to be erect to horizontal, bottom 4 feet of the inflorescence stalk with tan bracts and no flowering branches. Flowers shedding lots of pollen, stamens with light yellow anthers and white filaments. Lat. 29.61323°N Long. 082.40755°W Datum: WGS84. S21,T10S,R19E.
