Locality: United States, Florida, Leon, United States: Florida: Leon County. Locally common vine with Wisteria, Ipomoea, Lonicera, Manihot, and Conyza along railroad embankment behind apartments W of Cadiz Street between Call Street and Park Avenue in Tallahassee. Flowers subtended by four minute, partially fused bracts that persist distally on the pedicel; sepals two, white, petaloid; petals five, white; stamens 5, filaments fused proximally into a ring and opposite petals; style one, stigmas three, clavate; no fruit set seen (functionally staminate? -- see Bogle, J. Arn. Arb. 50:594-597, 1969). Infloresences both axillary and terminal.
