Habitat: Narrow fen at base of Quercus sp. Dominated upland. Water appears to seep out from base of upland and creates tranition/wooded fen zone at base. This occasionally gives way to high quality patches of fen, but much of the fen is overtaken by Lythrum salicaria and Typha spp. Area not likely to persist at prairie fen without management. Heavily invaded by Typha angustifolia; some Phalaris arundinacea and Persicaria sp., but not much else; about 70m south of woodline; heavily degraded area.
Description: Flowers -NA.Scattered in area; about 1-3 plants per sq. m for 5 sq. m; none in flower; about 20-40 cm tall.
