Very shrubby lakeside fen. Mostly sedge meadow and wooded fen. Dominant vegetation includes Carex stricta, C. hystericina, Rosa, Frangula alnus, Larix laricina, Toxicodendron vernix, and Symphylotrichum firmum. Invaded by Phalaris arundinacea, Frangula alnus, and Rosa multiflora. Some boggy areas in the northeast. Drosera rotundifolia were found on Sphagnum hummocks in wooded fen. In southern section, ATV or truck activity, in open sedge meadow. Possible hunting site. In north-central portion of fen, 25m south of northern border, 20m east of boardwalk. Sedge meadow with Larix laricina saplings growing up strong. Dominant species are Carex sterilis, Thelypteris palustris and Solidago with Cornus, Toxicodendron vernix, and L. laricina saplings. Ground hummocky and moist.
