Habitat: Very shrubby lakeside fen. Mostly sedge meadow and wooded fen. Dominant vegetation includes Carex stricta, C. hystericina, Rosa, Frangula alnus, Larix laricina, Toxicodendron vernix, and Symphylotrichum firmum. Invaded by Phalaris arundinacea, Frangula alnus, and Rosa multiflora. Some boggy areas in the northeast. Drosera rotundifolia were found on Sphagnum hummocks in wooded fen. In southern section, ATV or truck activity, in open sedge meadow. Possible hunting site. In northeast section of prairie fen, 50m west of Riker Lake, 30m east of Typha stream, 2m south of 6m tall cedar tree. Area dominated by Solidago, ninebark, and Frangula alnus. Shrubs dense. Ground slightly hummocky and moist.
Description: Population - Occasional, 1-2 per 4m2. Budding and blooming.
