Mostly open prairie fen with strong prairie component. Bisected by Little Goose Creek. Some large swaths of Frangula alnus being treated by Michigan Nature Association. Private property is being heavily encroached by shrubs and turning the high quality fen into a patchwork of degraded/healthy fen. Sporobolus heterolepis possibly in area (none flowering to confirm in field); ground moist but not wet with some marl layers deeper down.
