Habitat: Inundated and dominated by Typha latifolia and Carex stricta. Located at west end of fen, area is farily diverse, but appears stressed. Dasiphora fruticosa present but dying. Mentha canadensis and Verbena hastata very common. Carex stricta dominated area on margin of wooded fen. Frangula alnus invading area. Other shurbs include Physocarpus opulifolius and Dasiphora fruticosa. Grass in area includes Andropogon gerardii, Sorghastrum nutans, Bromus cilitus, and Sporobolus heterolepis. Herbaceous species include Doellingeria umbellata, Thelypteris palustris, Solidago patula, S. uliginosa, and Pycnanthemum virginicum.
