Habitat: Prairie fen runs along Spring Mill Creek. Edges are wooded with oaks. Horribly overgrown with many large areas that were marked as fen, now dense shrub carr. 25m south of Spring Mill Creek within 10m of wooded boundary. Carex, Asteraceae, and Typha with shrubs of Cornus, Toxicodendron vernix, Rosaceae, and 20m tall tamarack. Ground moist and hummocky, but not wet.
Description: Population - Clumped, not extremely prevalent, seen amongst ferns, Typha, Cornus, Eutrochium maculatum, and asters.
