Description: Occasional to fairly frequent low-growing prickly-pear, flowers (3:45 pm) 75(l) x 67(w) mm with hypanthium (hyp) 39x18 mm slightly tuberculate, 70x60 mm, 63x65 mm, 70x60 mm, 68x50 mm, 80x55 mm with hyp 40x17 mm, 70x55 mm with hyp 30x12 mm, inner tepal 36x26 mm, broadly oblanceolate, notched and apiculate, outer tepals light yellow-orange with red flush, becoming broadly darker at apices, narrow light olive midstripe, inner tepal light yellow-cream with red basal and narrow midstripe, filaments light chartreuse becoming cream distal 3/4, anthers cream, style white, stigma lobes light chartreuse; additional flower collected 8 June 2016, 70(l) x 85(w) mm, rotate, hypanthium 31x20 mm and slightly tuberculate, inner tepal 36x32 mm, broadly oblanceolate, notched at apex, somewhat erose, outer perianth light pink-red midstripe with light olive light chartreuse narrow stripe, light red flush distally to broadly, margins light yellow, broad, effused with light red-pink, inner perianth light yellow with light red-pink basally extending into narrow midstripe, filaments light chartreuse - cream-white basally and cream-white distal 2/3, anthers light green-cream, style white, stigma lobes chartreuse green.
